Napoli director makes it clear Kvicha is in the long-term plan.

Napoli sporting director Giovanni Manna has said that attacker Kvicha Kvaratskheria will remain an important part of the team for Antonio Conte’s era and beyond, and therefore will not be sold.

Kvicha helped the Azzurri win their first Scudetto in three decades in the 2022-23 season and was name in the Ballon d’Or shortlist. However, the 2023-24 season has seen poor results and frequent changes of coaches, leading to the Georgian being link with other clubs. 

But now it’s like the sky after the storm because the arrival of head coach Conte has designed tactics for the 23-year-old to enjoy football, creating outstanding performances again, scoring 2 goals and 2 assists from playing 4 Campeonato games, pushing the team to second place in Serie A, and looking like a perfect match for Romelu Lukaku. 

The results on the pitch speak for themselves. Promotion Ufabet but Manna makes it clear that Kvicha is a mainstay at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium and is not going anywhere. 

“He still has three years left on his contract with us,” the Napoli director told ‘Ufabet Sport Italia’.

“There are clubs interest in Kvicha, but we want to continue working with him,” 

“We are discussing with his representatives to extend the contract,”

It is believe that the new contract will last no less than June 2028. With the team’s option to extend it further, raising the salary to 8 million euros per year.
